Very Good location, cleaning service is very very NOISY, they woke me all mornings, you cannot rest or sleep after 9am.
They yell between them, they throw many times the doors, the garbage, so hard, that I thought the floors were going to collapse.. too much scandal and noise in the mornings.
Both Men at lobby are very kind and helpful.
For the price, this hotel is fabulous. We had a lovely, quiet and comfortable room, nicely decorated. The staff were really friendly and welcoming. The location could not be better, being just up the road from the Trevi fountain. We will definitely be staying here again.
Amazing location and the staff was so friendly, but these are not like American hotel rooms. The shower was like a phone booth (smaller than a cruise ship shower), the AC didn't work in our room and there was a lot of traffic noise from outside. Perhaps this is very fancy for Italy?
You can walk to Trevi fountain, Coliseum, Pantheon and back to the hotel in 5 kilometers (3.2 miles). For this, the hotel is epic.
Totally disappointing from the beginning to the end…so let me start:
1. Next to the window the neighbor began to saw from 8 am to saw with its circular saw. Sleeping impossible…..
2. The toilet seat was not fixed, so going to toilet was a struggle and the toilet was quite dirty…
3. After asking for an ironing service before arriving and confirming it, I had to wait 2 days for a concrete response which unsurprisingly was negative…I went to a private ironing service nearby…
4. There was no pressure on the shower and the water was cold. So who likes to shower long with cold water might like it…
5. The bad was very short. 1.80 or shorter…
6. If you open the window you have a beautiful view on the neighbours workshop…
7. The air in the room was stale and it stank.
8. Talking a few times to different receptionists on different days did not solve any of the abovementioned problems!
In Sum: For 200€ a night you find for sure something better or pay a bit more!
PS: Unfortunately I can not upload pictures as the hotel director deactivated this function.
Friendly hotel in an amazing location!
Perfect hotel for our 3 night stay in Rome. Friendly welcome and spacious family room. Couldn't have asked for a better location, only 5minutes walk to the Trevi Fountain and Spanish steps. They called on our day of arrival to check what time we were arriving to make sure someone was there to meet us
We booked the Hotel Julia because the location is very central in Rome. We are aware that it is a 3 star hotel, but this standard is not met at all. The rooms are ancient and small, the bed is only 180 cm in length (!), the wifi does not work (cell phone reception in the room is also none), the shower head is broken, the water only drips and is ice cold. The toilet seat was not fixed. There was only one toilet paper roll. There is a view of the neighbor's workshop, which started work with the circular saw on Saturday at 8-12. We have already complained on the first day, a total of three times, to different people, no one took us seriously. Absolutely no recommendation - rather spend a few euros more, but enjoy the vacation in Rome.
Hotel Julia, is a budget hotel which is situated in a fantastic location, you are within walking distance to most of the attractions in Rome, the staff are really friendly and helpful, the rooms are clean, towels are provided, there's a mini fridge, TV, a bathroom with a shower and a badai. There also a lift in the hotel for those who need it. The hotel dose serve coffee and toast in the morning, the only negative are, theses no iron in the room and the WiFi is really poor.
It was well located, Room is dated . Shower pressure was great . Breakfast not included, staff is very friendly. Sorry I didn’t take pictures of the room.
